Meet Our Staff

Our office staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Cumulatively, they have over 30 years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery.

Cheryl: Patient Coordinator/Practice Manager

Cheryl is a native of Southern California where she grew up in Huntington Beach and now resides in South Orange County.

From an early age, Cheryl always showed a passion for the medical field. After graduating from college and then obtaining her Medical Assisting Certificate, she began her career in the field of OB/GYN.

After eight years in this very rewarding field of medicine, she decided to pursue a new and challenging field in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.

Cheryl has a broad and extensive background in the medical field, working for over 23 years, with the past 15 having been in Plastic Surgery. Cheryl has been recognized as a leader in office management for making offices more efficient. Cheryl’s policies and procedures make patients feel “at ease” from the moment they enter our office.

Cheryl has been with Dr. Ambe’s practice since February 2002. She hit the ground running and immediately implemented new ideas and streamlined processes for all office functions and patient needs. Cheryl understands the importance of setting and maintaining high standards of care, while making sure that the patient’s wishes, concerns and dreams are kept a priority.

Cheryl successfully balances a professional career, donating personal time to community all the while keeping up with family responsibilities.

Jennifer, Certified Physician Assistant

Jennifer, PA-C, is a licensed health care professional who practices medicine in partnership with Milind K. Ambe, M.D. Jennifer has years of experience and knowledge in plastic surgery and dermatology.

Jennifer has been a licensed Physician Assistant since 1999. She attended Western University of Health Science, a private medical school in Pomona, California. Jennifer was the Valedictorian of her graduating class, passed the national certifying examination developed by the National Board of Medical Examiners, became certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and was licensed by the California Board of Medicine.

Jennifer is very active in state and national professional organizations. She recently served as the President for the California Academy of Physician Assistants. Jennifer remains committed to the education and development of future Physician Assistants by acting as a proctor for physician assistant students.

Sandi: RN/BSN

Sandi had a mission to help others, this inspired her to become a Registered Nurse 16 years ago. Sandi began her career in aesthetic surgical nursing. Her experience includes 12 years of pre-operative, postoperative care, surgical assisting in the operating room, post anesthesia care, laser treatments and home care for post surgical patients.

Currently she injects Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane and Schlerotherapy. She is also additionally trained in the injectable threadlift technique.

At Dr. Ambe’s office Sandi fulfills her ambition of helping women to look and feel their personal best.

Tamme: Medical Aesthetician

Following her Grandmother Ida’s footsteps, Tamme entered into the Beauty Industry in 1993. Launching into her career with working at a full service salon, then engaging in a start up skin care product company (which is now extremely successful and world wide), and ultimately settling into practicing as a medical aesthetician.

Through continuingly receiving extensive Para medical skin care training and education from numerous companies, professionals, and physicians Tamme has established the fundamental elements for achieving and maintaining beautiful skin. She is also an active member in good standing with the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists (SPSSCS) and was featured on NBC’s television show “The Other Half” to demonstrate her technique of the dermaplaning method.

Currently Tamme has been exploring treatments using the Omnilux Light Therapy to stimulate the natural process to rejuvenate the skin. This multi-wavelength Light Therapy system provides initial effects of a clearer, brighter and smoother complexion. She is also experimenting with the new CACI Ultra machine and all of its modalities including micro current, ultrasonic microdermabrasion and the hydratone mask.

It is Tamme’s goal to give you the tools necessary for a healthy complexion. Her simple and straightforward strategy is a direct result from her daily experiences and intimate partnership with her clientele. Tamme has dedicated her professional career to finding solutions and achieving skin wellness.

Jennifer: Medical Aesthetician

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. She then went on to study at Paul Mitchell-The Skin Academy, a state of the art program for aesthetics and beauty. In the beginning of her career, Jennifer worked with a world renowned dermatologist, who shared his expertise and knowledge of skincare.

Jennifer focuses on acne treatments, anti-aging and hyper-pigmentation treatments using microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and rejuvenating facials.

 

Janelle: Front Office Assistant

Janelle was sought out to join Dr. Ambe’s staff because of her experience with customer service. She originally worked for Dr. Ambe at his surgical center in Newport Beach. After reliably being there at 6:00 am every morning with a smile, Dr. Ambe asked her to join his office team. Janelle currently assists Dr. Ambe in the daily operations of the office. Interfacing with the patients and ascertaining their needs is a particular gift she possesses. She is due to complete her Certified Medical Assisting education this year so she can expand her ability to help patients in every capacity.

 

 

Courtney: Front Office Assistant

Courtney is from Southern California- born and raised in Huntington Beach.

Courtney has over 9 years in the Customer Service field. She began her career at a high end department store as a sales associate. She then moved to work in two well respected salons in Newport Beach before joining Dr. Ambe’s team in January 2008.

Courtney has a strong ability to multi-task since she not only handles front office tasks for Dr. Ambe, but she lends customer service support and handles daily functions for Ambe Aesthetics. Her natural ease with patients and people-skills are a great asset to our office. You can always count on Courtney to flash her bright, friendly smile. Courtney is currently studying for her Medical Assistant Certificate and is due to complete it this year.

Ashley: Front/Back Office Assistant

Ashley was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. She is an extremely dedicated medical assistant, with over 13 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery and other aesthetic services. Since joining our practice in July of 2008, she has successfully utilized her extensive knowledge by communicating with prospective patients prior to their consultations via email. Ashley also focuses on continually updating images of Dr. Ambe’s pristine surgical skills (before and after photos) in our online photo gallery. With the knowledge that seeing actual patient results is one of the most important factors in selecting a surgeon; she has contributed greatly towards our patients comfort and satisfaction.
