Dr. Ambe was born in Canada, moving to Southern California with his family when he was just two years old. Like most children, he was greatly influenced by his family - in his case, scientists, musicians and doctors. In fact, by the time he was in his teens, Dr. Ambe was an accomplished concert pianist. Soon, though, he turned his attention to something that demanded an even greater combination of artistry, creativity and meticulousness - cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Ambe received his plastic surgery training and ultimately his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
